Block reference / Workflow

List profiles

The profiles in a group, with a tag, open or closed — as records or as ids.

Only inWarpX Browser

List profiles finds profiles by group, tag, browser, state and name, and puts them in a variable. Hand that variable to Loop data to go through them one by one, or give it as it is to the blocks that act on profiles — Run on profiles, Set proxy, Move to group, Update profile, Open profile and Close profile all take it in their These profiles box.

The List profiles block's settings, filled in as in the example below.

Settings

Description

A note shown on the block in the canvas.

ExampleAccounts to warm up
Group

Any group, a group on this computer, or Id, name or variable… to type one. A group that is not there fails the block.

ExampleTikTok VN (20)
Tags

Tags separated by commas, ignoring case. Empty for any.

Exampleneed-warmup
Has any of them / Has all of them

The choice under Tags: keep a profile that has at least one of the tags, or only one that has every one.

ExampleHas any of them
Browser

Any browser, Chromium, Camoufox or ShardX.

ExampleAny browser
State

Any, Open (starting, running or closing) or Closed.

ExampleClosed
Name contains

Keep only profiles whose name contains this text, ignoring case. Empty for any.

Example
At most

How many to keep, the first ones found. 0 for all of them.

Example30
Keep

Each profile keeps a record per profile; Only their ids keeps a plain list of ids.

ExampleEach profile
Assign to variable

On by default.

ExampleChecked
Variable namewhen Assign to variable is on

The variable that gets the list. The default is profiles, which is what the These profiles box of the other profile blocks suggests.

Every block also has the shared block settings — a description, Disable block and what to do on an error. Fields that take text accept data from earlier blocks.

What it hands on

One output. With Each profile, a list of records: id, name, engine, status, open, group (id, name), proxy (id, name, type, host, port), tags, notes, os, country, ip, lastLaunchedAt and createdAt. With Only their ids, a list of ids. No password is ever included. The log shows how many were found; none found is not an error.

Example: Warm up the accounts that need it, 3 at a time

  1. Start
  2. List profiles
  3. Run on profiles
  4. Update profile
Where List profiles sits in the example workflow.
  1. Add a List profiles block. Set Group to TikTok VN, Tags to need-warmup, State to Closed and At most to 30.
  2. Leave Variable name as profiles.
  3. Add a Run on profiles block: Workflow Warm up, Profiles These profiles with {{variables.profiles}}, At once 3.
  4. After it, add an Update profile block on These profiles {{variables.profiles}} that removes the tag need-warmup.
  5. Run it: the closed accounts tagged need-warmup are warmed up three at a time, then lose the tag.

Good to know

  • Temporary profiles are never listed.
  • In Loop data over Each profile, read a field as {{loopData.<Loop ID>.name}} or {{loopData.<Loop ID>.id}}.
  • The list is what was there when the block ran. A profile opened or retagged afterwards is not updated in the variable.
  • It only reads, and never asks for confirmation.
  • Needs the WarpX Browser desktop app, where the profiles are. Elsewhere the block is not in the block list, and a workflow that has it fails with "Profile and group blocks need the WarpX desktop app".
  • On an Appstore listing, a workflow with this block shows Lists, creates, opens, closes and changes your profiles, their groups and proxies.
