Block reference / Browser

Reload tab

Reloads the page in the tab the workflow is using and waits for it to load.

Only inWarpX Browser

Reload tab loads the current page again, like the browser's reload button. Use it to fetch fresh content, such as an order status that changes, or to try again when a page loaded badly. The block waits for the page to finish loading before the next block runs.

Settings

This block has no settings of its own.

Every block also has the shared block settings — a description, Disable block and what to do on an error. Fields that take text accept data from earlier blocks.

What it hands on

Leaves by its only output. It writes nothing to the table or to variables. It fails with no-tab when the workflow has no tab yet.

Example: Check an order until it ships

  1. Open URL
  2. Get text
  3. Conditions
  4. Delay
  5. Reload tab
Where Reload tab sits in the example workflow.
  1. Add Open URL with https://shop.example.com/orders/{{variables.orderId}}.
  2. Add Get text on .order-status and save the text to the variable status.
  3. Add Conditions with a path that checks whether {{variables.status}} is Shipped, and connect that path to the rest of the workflow.
  4. Connect Fallback to Delay with 60000, then to Reload tab, and connect Reload tab back to Get text.

Good to know

  • The block has no settings of its own.
  • Anything you typed into the page, and its scroll position, may be lost, as with a reload by hand.
  • If the page takes longer than 30 seconds to load, the block fails.
