Block reference / App Management

Stop app

Force-stop an app, as Force stop in its settings does.

Only inWarpX Phone

Stop app force-stops an app on the run's phone: its screens and background work end at once, and its data stays. Use it to start an app afresh, to free the phone before the next task, or after an app has frozen. To stop every app at once, use Close all apps.

Stop app ends TikTok at once; the account stays signed in for the next run.

Package

The app, by its package name, such as com.shopee.vn. As you type, the field suggests the apps on the phone picked in the editor's toolbar, the apps phone farms run most (typing zalo finds com.zing.zalo) and the packages the workflow already names; tick System apps in the list to include built-in ones. What you type is kept as typed, so a reference such as {{loopData.package}} works too.

Delay (ms)

A pause after the block finishes, before the next block starts. Write one number such as 1000, or a range such as 1000,3000 to pick a random pause in that range on each run.

Example0

Every block also has the shared block settings — a description, Disable block and what to do on an error. Fields that take text accept data from earlier blocks.

What it hands on

Hands on the package name as {{prevBlockData}}. Leaves by its single output.

Example: Close TikTok after a watching session

  1. Start
  2. Start app
  3. Loop data
  4. Swipe / Scroll
  5. Delay
  6. Stop app
  7. Press Home
Where Stop app sits in the example workflow.
  1. Add a Start app block with Package com.zhiliaoapp.musically.
  2. Add the blocks that watch the feed, for example a Loop data that repeats a Swipe / Scroll and a Delay.
  3. After the loop, add a Stop app block with the same package.
  4. Add a Press Home block so the phone is left on its home screen.

Good to know

  • An app that is not running is stopped all the same, without an error. An app that is not on the phone fails with APP_NOT_INSTALLED.
  • The next time the app opens, it opens from its launch screen, still signed in.
  • There is no Device field: the block acts on the run's phone — the one picked in the editor's toolbar, or each phone ticked for Run automation in the Control Center or named in an API run.
