Block reference / General

Note

A sticky note on the canvas for explaining a workflow. It never runs.

In both appsWarpX BrowserWarpX Phone

Use Note to leave explanations next to the blocks they describe: what a branch is for, which account a workflow expects, what to change before running it. A note is not connected to anything and the run never reaches it. You edit it directly on the canvas.

Every block also has the shared block settings — a description, Disable block and what to do on an error. Fields that take text accept data from earlier blocks.

What it hands on

Nothing. A note has no connections and does not run.

Example: Explain what a workflow expects before someone runs it

  1. Note
  2. Start
  3. Open URL
Where Note sits in the example workflow.
  1. Drag a Note block onto the canvas next to the Start block.
  2. Click inside it and type Needs a profile that is already signed in. Change the search URL for other regions.
  3. Click the gear icon, pick the amber swatch and set Font size to Medium.
  4. Drag the note's corner until the text fits.

Good to know

  • Delete a note with the bin icon on its header.
  • A note cannot be connected to other blocks, so it never changes how a run goes.
