Block reference / Data

Delete data

Empty the table, clear one column, or delete variables.

In both appsWarpX BrowserWarpX Phone

Use Delete data to clear what earlier blocks collected, so the next pass starts clean. Each row removes one thing: the whole table, one column, or one variable.

The Delete data block's settings, filled in as in the example below.

Settings

Data from

Each row picks Table or Variable under Data from. For a table, choose [All columns], Column (the table's default column) or one of your columns under Select column. For a variable, type its name under Variable name. Click Add for another row.

Example
Table | [All columns]
Variable | orderTotal

Every block also has the shared block settings — a description, Disable block and what to do on an error. Fields that take text accept data from earlier blocks.

What it hands on

Removes the data. Hands nothing on: {{prevBlockData}} is empty after it.

Example: Start each batch with an empty table

  1. Loop data
  2. Get text
  3. Insert data
  4. Google Sheets
  5. Delete data
  6. Loop breakpoint
Where Delete data sits in the example workflow.
  1. Build a loop that collects rows with Get text or Insert data and sends them with Google Sheets.
  2. After Google Sheets, add Delete data.
  3. Click Add, keep Table and choose [All columns].
  4. Click Add again, switch the row to Variable and type orderTotal.
  5. Connect it to Loop breakpoint, so the next pass starts with no rows and no orderTotal.

Good to know

  • [All columns] removes every row and sends each column back to the first row, so the next value lands in row 1.
  • Clearing one column blanks that column in every row but keeps the rows, and the column's next value goes back to row 1.
  • The variable name is used exactly as typed. References such as {{variables.name}} are not filled in here.
  • Deleting a $$ variable removes it from this run only. The copy saved for later runs stays.
